Competition Introduction

The Cisco Networking Academy celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2007. This anniversary coincided with the release of the new CCNA courses, CCNA Discovery and Exploration. This brought us the idea to organize an instructors’ competition in Hungary and open the gates for participation for the most enthusiastic Netacad instructors from CEE and CIS. The final round of the competition will be considered a major event of the Hungarian Academy Program.

The competition consists of two rounds. The first round does not require personal attendance. The competitors will solve the tasks on the competition portal. The first round will take place on september 11, 2008. The 10 best instructors will enter into the final.

Expected tasks (first round):

Online test (professional knowledge, knowledge of CCNA Discovery, instruction methods and information collection from international sites related to the Networking Academy).
Practical network simulation tasks based on CCNA Discovery 1 and 2.
"Cisco Movie" - several tasks based on multimedia content

The final will be a two-day event, and requires personal attendance Date of the final is 17-19 October, 2008. Planned location is a university campus in the country. The exact location will be announced after the first round of the competition.
